Bugaboo Donkey Duo Review by Cem

After waiting quite some time to see one and hoping that Bugaboo Donkey Duo is the answer to all our needs, it turned out to be a real disappointment when we see that you cannot recline both seats full when you have the buggy in Duo configuration. It states at their web site: “Sit up straight when awake, recline when relaxed, or lie flat when fast asleep.” This is not true for Duo!

You can reline one of the seats fully back by slightly wiggling the seat (it catches the side of the handle) and when you try the second one it does not go full back since it cathes the side of the handle and the other seat! Please note that this fault is only valid for facing forward mode.It is ok if you want to use both seats facing you.

We though that at this price range Bugaboo gone through few prototypes and perfect the design before final production but not!

Having said above, it is a dual function, good quality and well built buggy but it just does not do for us when you consider price/performance ratio! I am sure they will revise the design and come up with a solution but it will be too late for us…
