iCandy Peach Blossom 2 at The Deep Aquarium

It was Mr BB’s 40th Birthday today, so we took our trusty iCandy Peach Blossom 2 on an adventure to 10 metres below water level, at the world’s only Submarium – The Deep!

Our eldest offspring had been so excited by all the preparations for the big day that she refused to go to sleep until very late the night before. Tired toddlers and excitement are not the best combination, so although she walked for most of the day trip, the Peach Blossom 2 kit came too for welcome rests, for waiting in queues, and as back up for toddler meltdowns.

The Peach Blossom 2, as always, worked brilliantly for us – it offered a great view for our youngest, whilst having the back up of the Blossom kit if need be for our eldest, without looking like a double from the front. The iCandy Peach Blossom 2 fitted into the tiny lift, and manoeuvred around easily in small spaces. Even with both children on board – almost 30kgs in weight – the Peach Blossom 2 is still a one handed push which is no mean feat! We had plenty of room under the seat for the changing bag, coats, food for our youngest etc. Although access to the basket isn’t great with a child in the seat, it is easy to lift the flexible footrest up and push something underneath, or get something out.

The Deep was just part of the day trip. We spent some time shopping too which was fine until our eldest disappeared with one of my shoes whilst I was trying some on. Trying to find a black shoe in a shoe shop with hundreds of black shoes on display was not fun!! We also had dinner out where DS almost slid under the tray of the highchair (harnessed in), and so he was promptly removed. The iCandy Peach (now in single mode) was great, because with the bumper bar removed it just slid under the table like a highchair, and with the brake applied it was the perfect height and worked brilliantly.

A lot of pushchairs come and go here at Best Buggy but the Peach Blossom is so easy to use. On day trips like today where we may nor may not have needed the second seat, it was easy to decide whether to add the Blossom kit on, or leave it in the car, or even slide it in the basket, just in case! We also love that even though our children are nearly 2 years apart, they have the same harness height settings which means that either child can go in either seat unit. The Peach Blossom 2 is so versatile. We have had the iCandy Peach Blossom 2 now for nearly a year, and we still love it, and we use it more than any other personally owned pushchair.
