Baby Jogger City Versa – It’s Here!

Here are our first photos of the final production Baby Jogger City Versa pushchair which arrived at Best Buggy HQ earlier today.

The Baby Jogger Versa, along with the Easywalker June which is due in the UK next week, are special because the seats both parent and forward face but both fold in one piece with the seat facing in either direction. Until now very few manufacturers have achieved this successfully – iCandy with the Strawberry, Bugaboo with the Bee, Babystyle with the Oyster etc but the Versa and June both flat compact folds. Great if space is at a premium or you have a small car boot.

The Versa is not just about the size of the fold, but also the way it folds – the Versa can be folded one handed with a baby tucked under the other arm – something that many parents need to be able to do eg to get on a bus. The Versa is packed with a host of other great features such as a rotating adjustable handlebar; magnetic peekaboo windows; a huge hood; handbrake; 3 positions for the child’s feet; a large comfy reclining seat; and a massive shopping basket with an additional mesh pocket on the rear of the seat for bits and pieces. The only down side is that the Versa feels heavy – its 11.9kgs. But we prefer having a sturdy pushchair, than a light one. The Versa is still highly manoeuverable.

We will get the Versa out and about from tomorrow, and will get photos live as soon as we can, but we hope that these photos give a flavour of what is to come from this fabulous pushchair!

BTW – the photo with the children’s chair and buggy are purely to give some sense of size proportion. The chair is the one we put in the basket of the Uppababy Cruz! The Versa is really neat!
