Bugaboo Cameleon³ Bumper Bar / Carrying Handle

One of the most interesting features about the new Bugaboo Cameleon³ is that the bumper bar / carrying handle is now hinged. We have been asked if the bumper bar will fit on the older Cameleon frames, and the answer unfortunately is “no”.

These photos illustrate the differences between the two bumper bars. There is a piece on the rear of the Cameleon³ bumper bar which stops it being inserted into an older Cameleon bumper bar socket.

The new hinge is clearly seen in these photos and it makes a real difference to getting an older child in and out of the Cameleon³ seat.
